For the Go Figure series, Gary began sourcing wines crafted by industry-leading winemakers who had a little extra left over from their own bottling. The results are stellar wines, hand-selected by Gary and team at significantly lower prices than at the winery itself. Each series gets their own “Lot Number”. We are currently on Lot 90 and look forward to all the projects that have yet to hit the pipeline. While we cannot display publicly where these wines were sourced, just ask one of our team members to let you in on the secret.

For the Going Forward series, we partnered with an incredible winery to source fruit that over-delivers on flavor and offers tremendous value. The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir both hail from the Russian River Valley and the Red Blend and Cabernet Sauvignon both come from Sonoma County. All four of our Going Forward wines are best sellers and everyday best value wines.

The Grand Finale idea came to fruition when, after winning one of the barrel lots at Premiere Napa Valley, Gary approached the lot’s winemaker to see if they would be willing to add a bit of wine from another of their favorite barrels and bottle a few cases for Gary’s under the “Grand Finale” label. The final products are representative of the finest wine from the winemakers and a taste of what Premier Napa Valley wines are all about.

For this Fisch series, we collaborated with dear friends in the Napa Valley to create a line that offers high quality but for a fraction of the price. We partnered with Round Pond, an award-winning winery in the Rutherford subregion of Napa Valley to produce a Sauvignon Blanc and a Cabernet Sauvignon that delivers the perfect balance of quality and style that make it good enough to carry the Fisch name.

Napa Valley is considered one of the premier wine regions in the world. Records of commercial wine production in the region date back to the nineteenth century, but premium wine production dates back only to the 1960s. The combination of Mediterranean climate, geography and geology of the region are conducive to growing quality wine grapes. John Patchett established the Napa Valley's first commercial vineyard in 1858. In 1861 Charles Krug established another of Napa Valley's first commercial wineries in St. Helena. Dark purple in the glass. There's a bounty of expressive aromas including coffee bean, dark chocolate and ripe plum. On the palate the smooth texture integrates well with the big, bold tannins. The flavor profile is dark fruit, touch of graphite and ripe plum with lots of mid palate intensity. There are slight under tones of toasted coconut, sandlewood and crushed vanilla bean. The wine finishes strong and the crisp acidity makes it a perfect food wine.
