Granite Hill Cellars, released in March of 2018 by the Kautz Family, comes from the Lodi, California appellation. Fourth generation family growers, the Kautz family philosophy is, “quality wine grapes, a touch of artistry, and patience create captivating, elegant wines."The name, Granite Hill, is derived from the rocky and “granite” terroir the family’s vineyards grow on. The soft rolling hills, in conjunction with the Pacific Ocean Delta breezes make these vineyards ideal for grapes of distinction.Lodi has been a famed region for growing Zinfandel grapes for many years, but it has been the last 10-15 years that it has been shining through with other varieties.Granite Hill Cellars showcases Lodi's diversity with seven different varietal bottlings: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio. Now is the time to stock up and make sure you’re sipping on something beautiful this season with Granite Hill Cellars!
